This is a fun spelling activity to complete in small groups or as a whole class to practise spelling CVC, CVCC, CCVC, CCVCC, CVCCC, CCCVC and CCCVCC words. We recommend printing a sound box board for each child. Students are verbally provided with a word by you and asked to spell it. They must determine how many sounds the word has and write it in the correct number of sound boxes. This resource includes:
