This Science of Reading-aligned resource is ideal for students not typically motivated by ‘sit down’ activities to help practise identifying rhyming words in a fun, hands-on, and novel way. The resource comes with:

• 8 different game boards. Each game board features a spinner on the left with different images inside. On the right of each board is a grid full of matching rhyming words for ‘splatting’. Additional resources needed: paper clip, pencil, play dough (optional hammer).
• Teacher Reference Page highlighting matching pairs. This is important to make sure students know what pictures are.
