Description
This fun, hands-on resource provides students with the opportunity to practise subitising to 10.
The aim of the game is for students to spin a number and identify a picture representation of it on their game board. They will cover the picture with a ball of play dough and squish it. We have even included a handy recording sheet if you would like your students to record their subitised numbers.
This activity is suitable for individual work in Foundation and the Early Years and would make a great addition to small group rotations or table activities. This resource includes:
- Detailed instructions
- 6 game boards (in high and low colour options)
- A handy recording sheet.
Please note that this game requires play dough, paper clips and pencils.
In addition to developing early numeracy skills, this game provides students the opportunity to practise fine motor skills as they make and squish their balls of play dough!
