Grab out your dot markers and use these worksheets to practise counting and recording the number of syllables in words. There are two worksheets to complete featuring 1, 2 or 3 syllable words.

Students simply say the word to match the picture, count the syllables then use a dot marker to dot the number of syllables in the word below the picture.

If you don’t have dot markers, you could also use stickers, stamps or simply colour in the circles to show the number of syllables.
