This handy worksheet can be used when your students are learning about the motion and arrangement of particles in the states of matter.

Three differentiated versions of the worksheet are available. They range from requiring students to label provided diagrams as solids, liquids and gases and completing cloze descriptions to students drawing the diagrams themselves and writing their own descriptions. The worksheets also include an image which requires the students to draw the particles in the different substances.

When you have decided which version of the worksheet to give to which students, you can print the number of copies that you need and start the activity.
