This resource supports your students to identify and classify the observable properties of the states of matter.

The second page of the resource contains jumbled up properties that need to be cut out, sorted and pasted under the correct solids, liquids or gases heading on the first page. There are two lots of the properties on page two so you can print half the number of copies that you require and cut them down the horizontal black line. Your students also need to find example substances in the classroom and record them on their worksheet. They could draw and/or write their information.
