Use this worksheet whilst consolidating students understanding of the number combinations that add to ten (or - Friends of Ten). This is such an important skill for young mathematicians. It helps build maths efficiency and fluency and is an essential foundation for working within all mathematical operations throughout primary school.
In this activity, students are asked to either solve the friends of ten equations, or write their own examples, and complete a cute cut and paste ice-cream.
This resource is part of a package of ‘Friends of Ten’ worksheets and is great practise for students to build this fluency.
