Our Super Sentences activity has been designed to support students in the reviewing and editing process. They will identify how precise verbs, adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases can improve sentences by making them more descriptive.

Ideal for individual or small group work, students will read a sentence card and determine how they can make it more descriptive by changing the verbs to be more precise, adding adjectives and adverbs and including prepositional phrases. Students will record their ‘super’ sentence onto their recording sheet.
