Supermarket Vocabulary LET’S FARM
Description
Time to head to the farm! In this hands-on digital game, students complete different farming tasks by identifying vocabulary associated with a supermarket setting. With each correct answer, they help move a job along—whether it’s planting seeds, harvesting produce, fixing the tractor, or organising the market stall. A farmer’s work is never done!
Students will be shown three words and images and asked to choose the item they would find at the supermarket. This game supports the development of vocabulary in practical, real-world contexts and strengthens word recognition, categorisation, and comprehension.
Some farm jobs require more than one question to complete—adding a rewarding sense of progress as students watch their farm grow and come to life. The game continues until all questions have been answered. At the end, students receive a wrap-up sheet showing everything they completed on the farm that day.
