Swap the Adjective LOOK & WRITE
Description
Use this PowerPoint game to help build vocabulary and support students' understanding of adjectives. Students are asked to read a sentence and swap the adjective for a different one - making sure it still makes sense. The adjectives featured describe people, places, animals and objects. To complete: LOOK – Look at the sentence. Decide on a new adjective to replace the one underlined. WRITE – When the WRITE slide is shown, students are asked to write their answer on a whiteboard, paper, book etc. CHECK – The answer will appear and students can check their work. Please note that in this task there could be a whole range of correct responses. Why not remove the WRITE slides (simply delete) if you would like to complete this resource as an oral activity? Students can then call and respond with the correct answer before the CHECK slide. You might be interested in viewing our huge range of LOOK & WRITE PowerPoint games. |
