This simple task card activity will help your students identify the number of syllables by clipping the cards.   Each card has a main picture and 5 number of syllables below it. The objective of the game is to identify the name of the picture and count the number of syllables.  Using a wooden peg, they will then clip the correct number.   To make this game more engaging, you may cut and put the small mini fox cards on the wooden peg to add some creative layer to the activity.   You might like to view our complete Syllables and Rhyme task card package, designed to be stored in the Kmart Rainbow Storage containers.
