Description

This wonderful set of posters provides synonyms for 12 different commonly used words. Your students can refer to them during writing sessions to add a little sparkle to their vocabulary.

As well as showing synonyms, the posters come in pairs of antonyms that are easily distinguished through their matching colours. For example, there is a poster of synonyms for the word ‘good’ and a poster of synonyms for the word ‘bad’. Both posters feature the colour blue. If your students are looking for an antonym for either of these words, they can look at the corresponding blue poster.

The posters are provided in A4 landscape format and can be printed straight away. However, if you would like them to be smaller for a display or to glue into student workbooks, you could print them as A5. You could also size them up to A3 if you prefer. Black and white versions of the posters are included in the file.
