Help students understand the use of connective words to create links in sentences with this cut and paste match-up.

Students will complete the sentence by cutting and pasting connective words and clauses into the correct order. Three differentiated versions of the activity each provide less of the completed sentence, gradually releasing responsibility onto the student to complete the sentence.

Perfect for independent or paired work, or can be easily adapted for a small group workstation by enlarging to A3 and printing on thick cardstock for re-use.
