Conduct a guided statistical investigation with this sweet set of differentiated templates.
Students will begin an investigation to determine the most common colour of lolly in a single packet.
For this investigation, you will need to provide each student with an individual lolly packet, e.g. Skittles, M&Ms. There are templates that include the colours for both of the above examples as well as a blank option if you choose to use a different type of lolly with different colours.
Students will tally the number of each colour lolly and then create a column graph to represent the data.
They will then compare their data with three peers before answering some concluding questions.
