Designed to be used in tandem with reading the picture book The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg, this engaging craftivity will have your students reflecting on the narrative while creating a fun artwork for display.

This activity can be completed as an independent artwork or as a whole class collaborative craft. Trains can be decorated using any materials of your choice; we recommend printing on thick card, creating base colours with watercolour paints and then layering patterns with coloured markers once the paint has dried!
