Ribbit, ribbit! It looks like Mr. Froggy is hungry again and needs to hunt for food. Can you help Mr. Froggy look for food by answering ribbit-ing questions on prefixes?
This interactive PowerPoint game introduces the concepts of identifying basic prefixes (dis-, mis-, un-, and re-) and recognising how they are used in a sentence. To start the game, the students will click on an insect, identify the given word, and read the sentence. Next, they will find the correct prefix to complete the word and sentence. This will allow Mr. Froggy to eat the food.
This game gives an opportunity for your students to learn to use prefixes to create new words and understand how the addition of a prefix can change the meaning of a base word.
