This activity is designed to accompany a whole class reading of the book The Very Noisy Bear by Nick Bland.

Use this diverse, differentiated set of writing prompts to support student understanding after reading the text. The package contains seven different writing prompt options using a variety of templates and line widths, allowing your students to write or draw their responses. You can also scribe responses for early learners.

Three different writing toppers inspired by the text are included for you to choose from. Select from the bear, sheep or moose, with both colour or black and white options included.

Top Teacher Tip: The black and white topper templates make for a great, easy craft! You can decorate these using pastels, markers, paints or dye. Try adding shapes and patterns to the animal heads for an eye-catching display!

Print templates in A3 for Early Years and Foundation learners to provide more space to draw or write. You could even use the draw-only templates in A3 on an easel as a painting prompt.
