The Writing Process Display
Description
Use this display to teach the process of writing to your students. It is also a great way to monitor their progress during longer writing tasks.
The stages on each pencil include prewrite, plan, draft, revise, edit, publish and present. Simply use the pencils that suit your teaching style/method.
You may like to display the pencils in a line going down the wall, or in more of a cycle.
You can then use the name tags included in this resource (or named pegs would work well too!) to identify where each student is at in the writing process. This enables the teacher to easily monitor each student's progress and identify who may need more support.
