Description

This fun, hands-on resource encourages students to recognise numbers from 1 to 10, as well as practise counting and combining collections. A great addition to numeracy rotations or table activities, suitable for both individual and partner work in Foundation and the Early Years. The aim of the game is to build towers using unifex blocks matching the number or sum on the Game Board. This resource features 6 different Game Boards for combining quantities 0 to 10. This resource supports the following: ·      Counting collections of items 1-10 ·      Recognising numerals 1-10 ·      Combining collections under 10 ·      Partitioning numbers 1-10 ·      Developing fine motor skills as they build their towers. This activity includes scope for differentiation as children who can confidently count and identify numbers 0 to 10 can move on to combining collections to 10.
