This fun, hands-on resource provides students with the opportunity to practise identifying the number one more than a given number.
The aim of the game is for students to move around the game board, look at the number they land on and determine the number that is one more. They will represent this number by building a tower to match. It is suitable for both individual and partner work in Foundation and the Early Years and would make a great addition to small group rotations or table activities.
This resource includes:
- Detailed instructions
- 6 game boards (in high and low colour options)
- A handy recording sheet.
In addition to developing early numeracy skills, this game provides students the opportunity to practise fine motor skills as they build their towers.
