Description

Use these tracing task cards to develop our young learners' pre-writing skills. There are so many benefits rolled into one simple activity, such as:

-      Building fine motor strength and control.

-      Practising the beginning stages of letter formation.

-      Assists with developing a dominant hand and pencil grip.

-      Helps develop working memory and attention.

-      Strengthens visual-spatial awareness.

Students will select from a range of cards featuring simple line paths that students will follow to connect cute and engaging images. The cards are in A4 size, however, you choose to print 2 – 4 to a page for a smaller flash card size.

These cards could be used in a variety of ways. Place in write and wipe sleeves to use with whiteboard markers, display next to a tray of sand or other sensory material for students to replicate shapes or place under a baggie of paint for students to trace over with fingers or cotton buds.

Both colour and black and white versions are available.
