Tracing lines is an important part of developing a young learners pre-writing skills. So many benefits rolled into one simple activity, such as:

This resource contains a range of cards featuring cute pictures with dashed lines for students to trace. The cards are in A4 size, however you choose to print 2 – 4 to a page for a smaller flash card size.
These cards could be used in a variety of ways. Place in write and wipe sleeves to use with whiteboard markers, display next to a tray of sand or other sensory material for students to replicate shapes or place under a baggie of paint for students to trace over with fingers or cotton buds.
