Your students will have fun reading /oy/ words while they play ‘Trap a Tarantula’.

This is a game for 2-4 players.

Players choose a word card from the pile and read it aloud. They then need to find the word on the game board and cover it with a counter. Players keep choosing, reading and covering until all the squares around a tarantula are covered and that tarantula is ‘trapped’.

This game allows students to repeatedly practise their reading skills in a fun and engaging way.
