Is it trash, or is it treasure? Use this activity to help your students practise reading ck, ng, wh and qu words. Students use known sounds to read the word on the task card. They must determine if the word is a real word (treasure) or a nonsense word (trash) and clip a peg on the correct answer. Print these task cards onto thick cardstock for durability.
