Is it trash, or is it treasure?
Use this activity to help your students practise reading CVC words. Students use known sounds to read the word on the task card. They must determine if the word is a real word (treasure) or a nonsense word (trash) and clip a peg on the correct answer.
Print these task cards onto thick cardstock for durability.
