Description

Students will develop their understanding of compound words with this fun hands-on word building game.

To play each student will have a game board and a blank trash or treasure worksheet.

Sort the cards into two piles (card 1 and card 2). Students then turn over a number one card and a number two card to see if they can create a real or nonsense compound word. This can be recorded on the worksheet if being used. If a nonsense word was made you may like to have them keep the number one card on their board until a real word is made.
