Description

Pack your bags - it’s time to climb the mountain of time! In this collaborative digital game, students work together to climb higher by deciding which unit of time measurement is most appropriate for different events. Each correct answer helps them advance up the mountain, with the scenery changing as they progress.

Students will be presented with a variety of everyday events and will choose whether to measure them in seconds, minutes, hours, days, or another relevant time unit. The game helps build understanding of how different units of time apply to real-world situations and develops reasoning skills in an engaging way.

At the end of the hike, students receive a polaroid-style snapshot showing how far they made it and their score - encouraging them to replay and aim even higher as a team!

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • ✅ Select appropriate units of measurement for different time intervals
  • ✅ Build understanding of the relationship between time units
