Using Our Senses Worksheets
Description
Are your students learning to use their senses to observe the properties of materials? You need our Using Our Senses worksheets!
Created to coincide with the Foundation Chemical Sciences Australian Curriculum, these worksheets will provide students with the opportunity to identify the properties of materials.
Students will choose three pieces of material or objects and identify the materials they are made from. They will then use the word bank to shade in each item’s observable properties.
This resource includes three versions to suit the needs of your class:
- Students will glue pieces of material to observe and describe (students will need access different materials that can be stuck to the page, such as gift wrap, cardboard, plastic wrap, ribbon or aluminium foil).
- Students will draw objects to describe.
- Students will cut and paste pictures of objects to describe.
This resource pairs well with our Material Sorting Facility POWERPOINT game.
This resource is a part of our Chemical Sciences Foundation UNIT PLAN.
