Practise the skill of using past, present or future text with this game!   How to play:

1. Put together the cube net to create the ‘verb tense’ dice.
2. Grab a 6 sided dice and 2 counters (different colours for you and your partner).
3. Roll the 6 sided dice, and move forward that many spaces. Then roll the ‘verb tense’ dice.
4. Read the verb you have landed on, and be sure to say the correct tense of the verb based on what your ‘verb dice’ asks.

  For example, if you land on the word run, and your verb tense dice lands on ‘past’ tense, will need to say ‘ran’ to be able to move forward with your go. If you’re incorrect, you move back to your original position.   Tip: Encourage your students to use these verbs in a sentence, stating the correct verb tense. This could be written or verbal.
