Create an erupting volcano that reveals your research with this hands-on craftivity!

Students will research various aspects around the topic of volcanoes including:

1. Introduction
2. Types of Volcanoes
3. Formation
4. Eruptions
5. Famous Volcanoes
6. Volcano Diagram.

They will then cut out, decorate and assemble the craft to create a three-dimensional volcano that will unfold when the lava topper is removed.

There are two versions of the template, one with subheadings included and one without.

An instructions page with diagrams is provided on page 1 which can be displayed on a screen for all students to see and refer to as they assemble the template. There are printed instructions on page 2 for students to each have a copy.

Print on thick card for best results. Students will need access to glue, scissors and tape to assemble this craft activity.
