This racetrack theme Powerpoint game focuses on reading and practicing long “a” vowel phonics, including pictures and words with a, ai, ay, a_e (i.e., afraid, mail, cake, etc.)The class will be divided into two teams. To start the game, the teacher will click the “Go” button and pause it alternately to stop the picture generator. The two teams will then guess the long “a” vowel picture shown (they may recite by team or use whiteboards to write their answer). The team who will identify the image correctly before revealing the answer gets a point.
