These Waste Management Sorting Bins are a perfect complement to your teaching of sustainability. In a small group, divide the rubbish cards amongst students. The rubbish cards need to be sorted into two piles, waste and recyclable materials. Students then evaluate their piles by recommending alternative ways to dispose of a waste item. For example, could a compost bin be added? Prepare on thick cardstock and re-use for years to come!
