Description
Get ready to roll! In this engaging digital game, students take turns rolling the dice and moving around a colourful game board made up of mini worlds inspired by other Digi-Games, like the ocean, race track, mountains, and more.
As they land on different spaces, students will be asked to identify number sequences that are arranged in the correct ascending order. For example, they may see the question: “What is the correct order?” with four choices for the ordering of numbers 6, 16, 61 and 66.
This game supports place value understanding and helps students develop fluency when comparing, ordering, and sequencing numbers to 120. Coins are earned with each correct answer, and their value depends on the colour and size of the coin collected. Special events may pop up to keep students on their toes!
The game continues until all questions have been answered. Players keep moving around the board as long as questions remain. At the end, the player with the highest total coin value wins!
Key Learning Outcomes:
- ✅ Identify correctly ordered number sequences up to 120
- ✅ Strengthen understanding of place value and digit position
- ✅ Develop fluency with number comparison and sequencing
- ✅ Participate in interactive, turn-based gameplay
- ✅ Reinforce number sense in a curriculum-aligned, purposeful context
How to Play:
- Students roll the dice and move their token across the themed game board.
- When they land on a space, they answer a sequencing question such as “What is the correct order?”
- A correct answer allows them to collect the coin on that space; coin values vary based on colour and size.
- Occasionally, a special event may occur to add extra fun to the round.
- Players continue circling the board until all questions are completed. The player with the highest total coin value wins!
Ideas for Classroom Use:
- 💡 Use during number and place value units to reinforce sequencing and comparison
- 💡 Perfect for numeracy rotations or independent practise time
- 💡 Great for Year 1–2 students learning to order numbers within 120
- 💡 Follow up with hands-on sequencing tasks using number cards or number lines
