Description

This digital resource is designed to assist your students in understanding what the purpose of different text types is and why an author might write with an intended purpose. After an initial exploration of the definition of purpose and the different purposes of text types (to inform, persuade and entertain), students take part in a quiz where they read a short text and determine its purpose.
