Support your Year 6 students in their Civics & Citizenship: Australia’s System of Governmentunit of work with the Who Has the Power? task.
Created to coincide with the Year 6 Australian Curriculum, this activity will allow students to examine instances where different levels of government share power over making and enforcing laws and regulations, as outlined in the Australian Constitution.
Students will document examples of concurrent powers that are shared between the Federal Parliament and the state and territory parliaments.
This activity is part of our Australia’s System of Government Year 6 Civics & Citizenship Unit.
