These editable rule cards were created to use as a part of a whole brain teaching approach to learning. Each card is accompanied by gestures, which assist the students in recalling each rule:

1. Listen (cup ear) when the teacher (point to teacher) is talking (use hand to make a talking mouth).
2. Raise (put hand up) your hand (hold hand near face) to speak (use hand to make a talking mouth).
3. Follow directions quickly (use hands to make a snake/winding path).
4. Respect others (hands out) respect yourself (hug self) respect your school (move hands over head like a roof).
5. Make smart choices (tap side of head with pointer finger).
