This engaging literacy activity will help your students master the skill of inferring.

This inference activity is a hands-on reading comprehension resource designed for students to practise their inferring skills while having FUN at the same time!

To set up the activity, place some items of your choice in a bag (this could be done by yourself, or you could have each student bring in a bag of things  to swap with a partner). Students will then use inference strategies to gather information about the kind of person that owns the bag, requiring them to think beyond literal comprehension.
