Let your students practise reading and blending CVC words using this fun, interactive take on exploring real and nonsense words.

In this engaging game, students are asked to read CVC words that appear. If the word is a real word, the students will choose the “WORD” folder. However, if the word is a nonsense word, the students will choose the “SHAM” trash bin. They will then add points depending on whether they sorted the words correctly.

You might like to play this with the whole class on an interactive whiteboard or alternatively you could play this individually on an iPad.
