Worms & Dragonflies Days of the Week

Description
Practise sequencing and consolidating days of the week with this fun and easy-to-use Worms & Dragonflies Days of the Week game! Played in a similar style to snakes and ladders, this game helps students develop time awareness and build confidence in identifying the days of the week. It’s a quick and low-prep activity that is perfect for small groups, maths rotations, or early finisher tasks.
We love this game because it is simple to prepare - no cutting required! Students take turns rolling the dice and moving along the game board. When they land on a space, they read the name of the day. For an extra challenge, you can ask them to name the day that comes after it. The game also adds an element of excitement with the worms and dragonflies: landing on a dragonfly's tail allows them to fly up, while landing on a worm's head sends them sliding down to the end of its tail.
Worms & Dragonflies Days of the Week is a great way to make learning the days of the week fun and interactive. It’s also available in a Months of the Year version to further support students in building their understanding of time concepts throughout the year.
