These posters can be used as prompts to help your students to say large numbers beyond 10 000.   The posters feature 5-, 6- and 7-digit numbers. They show the digits and the words for how the numbers are said aloud. The digits are colour coded to the words with each new number either adding to how the number is said or replacing what was prior. This helps to emphasise the repeating pattern of place value names within sets of 3 digits. The posters also include helpful real-life examples of where such large numbers can be found.   The posters are available in colour and black and white. When you have decided which version you would like, you could print them out onto A4 paper or reduce them to A5.
