To complete this task, students will use bingo daubers to practise the formation of letters. They are also encouraged to colour the matching picture. Alternatively, provide students with manipulatives, such as buttons or counters to place on the circles. Want to get even more hands-on? Have your students use tongs or tweezers to pick up and place pom poms on the circles!

This task provides the opportunity for students to develop important fine motor skills. Holding a bingo dauber requires students to use a pincer grip which is an essential skill for future writing tasks. As they carefully press the dauber or place other items on each circle, they develop their coordination, control and spatial awareness.
