Description
Are you always on the lookout for new ways to practise addition fluency? Our Domino Drop 3 in a Row: Addition Game is just what you need! This fun and interactive partner or small group game gives students repeated opportunities to practise simple addition facts in an engaging, hands-on way. The element of strategy and chance makes it an activity students will want to play again and again.
The game is easy to set up and play. Each student will need their own game board, and a set of dominoes is placed face down in the centre of the playing area. On their turn, students select a domino, add the two sides of the domino together, and cover the corresponding number on their game board. The goal is to be the first to cover three numbers in a row - either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. If the number is already covered, the domino is returned to the table face down, adding a fun element of memory and strategy to the game.
Domino Drop 3 in a Row: Addition Game provides meaningful practise of addition facts while also promoting flexible thinking, turn-taking, and problem-solving. It’s perfect for use during maths rotations, as an early finisher activity, or for small group work. Best of all, it turns routine addition practise into a game students will genuinely enjoy!
