Digi-Game

Description

Roll the dice and move around the game board, which features mini worlds taken from the other digi-games. The more correct answers you get, the more opportunities there are to earn points. Game on!

This version focuses on early addition skills, specifically adding a single-digit number to ten to form a teen number. Students build fluency with this essential number pattern as they solve problems, move around the board, and collect coins with different point values.

Watch out for surprise events along the way! As students make their way through the colourful game board, they’ll develop number confidence and recognition of teen number patterns. The game ends once all questions have been answered, and the player with the highest coin total is declared the winner.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • ✅ Add a single-digit number to ten to form a teen number
  • ✅ Build fluency with number facts to 20

  3. Correct answers allow them to collect a coin from the space—values vary by size and colour.
  4. Occasional surprise events add variation and excitement.
  5. The game continues until all questions are answered—the player with the most coin value wins!
