These task cards are a perfect way for you to teach consent to your Grade 1 and 2 students. Use these cards to prompt discussion during a Health lesson or as part of morning meetings, brain breaks and general classroom activities. This lesson will involve students learning how important an ‘enthusiastic yes’ is when asking another person to hold their hand, use their things or touch their body (for example: hugging). Print out the activity cards in colour onto cardstock. Cut them out and position them in your whole class teaching space for easy access. This activity is part of our Relationships, Consent & Self-Regulation Year 1 & 2 Health Unit.
