Support your Year 3 and 4 students in their Health: Interacting With Others unit of work with the Consent Role Plays task. Created to coincide with the Year 3 and 4 Health Australian Curriculum, this activity will allow students to practise the act of asking for, giving and denying consent in an appropriate and respectful way. Students will work with a partner to create a role play based on a scenario about two people, where one needs to ask the other for consent to do something. They will act out how the person should ask for consent and how the other person will respond by either denying or giving consent with an informed, willing and enthusiastic yes.
