Duration of Time LET’S ROLL
Description
Roll the dice and move around the game board, which features mini worlds taken from the other digi-games. From under the sea to mountain tops and space stations, each roll opens up new terrain and new questions. The more answers you get right, the more opportunities there are to earn points. Game on!
This version focuses on understanding and calculating duration of time. Students solve problems involving elapsed time, convert between different units such as minutes and hours, and apply knowledge of ‘am’ and ‘pm’ to real-life scenarios. It’s a practical way to engage with time concepts while building fluency and confidence in reading, planning and interpreting time intervals.
With each dice roll, students move across the game board and land on spaces that offer point values based on their size and colour. Correct answers help them collect those points, while occasional events and challenges keep the game fresh and exciting. The player with the highest point total when the questions run out wins the game!
