These fluency strips are designed to be used during oral language sessions in the classroom. Print on cardstock, or laminate and then attach together with a split ring (can be purchased from Officeworks or most $2 stores). This will allow easy storage and access during learning time.
Each sound has articulation cues, a mouth image and a selection of words featuring the sound either at the start, middle or end of the word. Images for each word are also displayed.
When using with students, you could introduce the sound and model the mouth placement. Then have students repeat each word after you say it. You could also say each word and ask students if they hear the focus sound at the beginning, middle or ending of the word.
