These print and go worksheets help students to understand the traditional Chinese zodiac calendar while practising their research skills.

Students will research the traditional Chinese zodiac, exploring the different signs and the years in which they appear. In extension activities, they will examine how the signs traditionally reflect personalities and compatibility, discover their own sign and others’ signs, and practise writing simple Chinese characters.

Four differentiated worksheet options are included. You may like to divide these between students or allow early finishers to move on to the more challenging tasks.
