Description
Support your students as they explore comparing collections with the More or Less Clip Cards. This hands-on resource is perfect for developing early number sense, visual comparison, and fine motor skills while reinforcing the mathematical language of 'more' and 'less'.
Students will work with a set of 16 task cards, each displaying two picture collections. Their job is to determine which group shows more or less and use a peg or counter to clip their chosen answer. This simple and engaging task encourages visual discrimination, reasoning, and one-to-one correspondence while supporting fine motor development through the act of clipping.
A recording sheet is included so students can write the numeral that corresponds to the collection they selected, providing additional practise in number formation and number writing. Whether used independently or in a small group, these cards make a great addition to your maths rotations, early finisher activities, or as a warm-up to a lesson on comparing quantities.
