Your students can reflect on R.J. Palacio’s use of humour and sarcasm in Wonder with these worksheets.

To begin with, they will find and record examples of sarcasm and humour from the book. Your students will then need to answer four thought-provoking questions about why the author uses the techniques and what effect they have on the characters.
